EcoSmart Hydro Controller 5-Step Quickstart Guide:
1 - First Mannualy Connect
Remove the lid of the controller and plug in any USB mouse and keyboard into the main SBC along with HDMI cable connected to a monitor or TV.
2 - Enter Wifi Credentials
Power up the controller with either the solar power cable or DC UK adapter provided and wait for the SBC to boot up before clicking on the WiFi symbol at the top right corner and entering your WiFi credentials.
3 - Access Software Remotely
Open any internet web browser connected to your local network and type 192.168.1.120 to remotely acces the PinderPonics Hydro Controller software where you can monitor and control different nutrient and greenhouse conditions. Don't forget to enter your email address and warning notification values via the settings page.
4 - Setup & Configure
Prime the feeding pumps with hydroponic nutrients using the manual control ,ON buttons for each nutrient ensuring all pipes are free from air bubbles and not restricted in any way. Set the feeding pumps to auto and download one of our preprepared feeding schedules from www.pinderponics.com/hydro/resources.htm or set up the schedule mannualy using the timers tab at the top right of the browser.
5 - ON & AUTO e.g. Remote Control Vs A.I.
Turn on your collected rainwater (free from the surface of the solar panel) or fresh water supply to fill your nutrient tank and Switch on the main NFT circulation pump and enjoy the fruits of your 5 steps of labour.
Notes:
mk1 SolarHydro = £300 (Environmental & Nutrient monitoring with remote control and timer based feeder scheduling) Nutrients and PH Correctors can be manually set to be OFF/ON or AUTO where the pre-determined EC & PH adjustments will be executed according to your manual or uploaded timer schedule for that specific plant type.
mk2 HydroSense = £500 (Environmental & Nutrient monitoring with control using intelligent closed loop adaptive feeding scheduler) Nutrients and PH Correctors can still be manually controlled (ON/OFF) and scheduled to be dispensed automatically (AUTO) however the mk2 uses additional sensors and intelligent algorithms to ensure the perfect dosage volume for both EC & PH values are within safe limits for optimised food production whilst still allowing you to specify your preferred feeding times.
NB: Automatic mixing and oxygenation will occur on every feed while set to AUTO. To enable automatic flushing you must have enough water to replace the volume of the tank and enough volume in your waste water storage tank if not connected to a drain.
